What is a TOG Rating?
All of our sleeping bags and pyjamas are rated for warmth using the TOG system, which stands for Thermal Overall Grade. This unit of measurement assesses the insulation and warmth of sleepwear and bedding. Essentially, a lower TOG rating indicates a lighter fabric, while a higher rating indicates more padding and insulation. It’s important to select a TOG rating that corresponds to your child’s sleeping environment temperature, to ensure their comfort and prevent overheating or feeling too cold. We offer a complimentary room thermometer with each pouch purchase, to help make this decision easier for parents.
